CLIMB / FAQ

A few things to know.

From your first keyword to managing your account.

What is Climb?+

Climb is an App Store research and keyword tracking app for indie developers and small teams. Follow your app’s search positions, explore keywords, compare competitors, and research apps in App Studio.

What can I explore in App Studio?+

Explore app details, screenshots, ratings, recent reviews, pricing, and country availability. Download and revenue estimates, where available, help put an app’s performance in context.

Are revenue and download figures exact?+

No. These figures are estimates for research, not verified sales or financial reports. Scores, estimates, availability, and rankings can change and may be incomplete. Climb does not guarantee growth or revenue.

Can I track keywords in different countries?+

Yes. Choose an App Store country when adding an app and research keywords in that market. Search positions and competition can differ by country.

Does Climb have a free plan?+

The free plan includes one app project, 30 keyword additions, and App Studio research for three distinct apps. These are lifetime allowances: removing items or recreating your account does not reset them. Premium expands access, subject to the limits shown in the app.

How do subscriptions work?+

Premium offers weekly, monthly, and annual auto-renewing plans. The app shows the current local price and any eligible trial before purchase. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.

Can I receive ranking alerts?+

Yes. Enable notifications and choose your rank-change threshold in Climb. Alerts help you notice meaningful moves; delivery and refresh timing can vary.

How do I delete my account?+

Open Climb → Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm with Apple. Your projects, keyword associations, and rank history are removed. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription. See our data deletion policy for retention exceptions.
