Climb Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 10, 2026 · Last updated: October 10, 2026

Climb is an App Store research and keyword tracking app provided by People Park ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use Climb. Contact us at info@peoplepark.app for privacy questions or requests.

1. Information we handle

  • Account information: Your account identifier, name and email if supplied through Sign in with Apple. You can use Apple’s private relay email option.
  • Your workspace: Apps and countries you choose to track, keywords, competitor selections, rank history, account preferences, and usage counts needed to apply your plan’s allowances.
  • Research requests: App searches, keyword searches, selected apps, and country choices needed to return the information you request. Keyword research data and public app information may be cached and reused independently of your account. Do not enter confidential or personal information as research keywords.
  • Notifications: A device notification token, notification preferences, and your chosen ranking alert threshold.
  • Subscription information: Product and transaction identifiers, purchase and renewal status, relevant purchase and expiry dates, account association, and transaction details such as country, price, and currency. Apple processes payment; we do not receive your payment card details.
  • Diagnostics: Crash reports, device and operating system information, app information, account identifiers, and limited activity context used to investigate errors. Diagnostic activity context does not include the text of your keywords or your email address.
  • Support: Information you choose to include when contacting us, such as your email address and a description of a problem.

Some preferences, recent searches, and cached app information are stored on your device. Account and workspace information is also stored to make tracking and account access work across sessions.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, maintain your workspace, provide app research and ranking history, deliver requested alerts, verify and restore Premium access, enforce plan limits, prevent misuse, investigate failures, and respond to support requests. People Park also processes subscription transaction information for internal purchase reporting, accounting, and reconciliation across its apps.

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Climb does not use general product analytics to track your behavior across other companies’ apps or websites.

3. Legal bases

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we process account, workspace, and purchase information to provide the service you request; security, diagnostics, limited usage records, and internal purchase reporting for our legitimate interests in operating a reliable service and preventing abuse; and records required by law to meet legal obligations. We rely on consent where required, including optional permissions. You can withdraw optional permissions in device settings without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Sharing and service providers

We use service providers for hosting, account authentication, storage, diagnostics, notification delivery, and support. They may process information needed to perform those functions on our behalf. Apple handles Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, and relevant device services under its own terms and privacy practices.

Research requests may be sent to providers of app information. Requests can include the app identifier, search text, or country you select, together with ordinary connection information such as an IP address. We do not make your account workspace a public profile.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and security, investigate abuse, or support a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service with appropriate safeguards. Public app listings, ratings, and reviews displayed in Climb are separate from your private account records.

5. Retention and account deletion

We keep account and workspace information while it is needed to provide your account. Rank history is maintained on a rolling basis, generally up to 90 days. You can remove your account from Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm with Apple. This removes your account profile, tracked projects, keyword associations, ranking records, stored notification tokens, and account-linked subscription bindings, and revokes the Climb Sign in with Apple connection.

A limited pseudonymous usage record is retained after account deletion to prevent repeated account creation from resetting lifetime free allowances. It contains a hashed sign-in identifier, usage counts, and public app identifiers used for the free research allowance, rather than your name or email. This record currently has no automatic expiration; it is retained for the continuing purpose of enforcing those allowances. Contact us to request a review of retention or to exercise applicable rights.

Payment, accounting, fraud-prevention, support, security, and diagnostic records may remain as needed for their purpose or to meet legal obligations. Residual backup copies may persist until normal replacement or expiration. Public app information and research data not linked to your account may remain. Deleting Climb or your account does not cancel your Apple subscription or erase records independently held by Apple. See the Data Deletion Policy for details.

6. Your choices and rights

You can manage tracked items and preferences in Climb, turn off notifications in iOS Settings, manage your subscription through Apple, and delete your account in the app. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, request a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data protection authority. Contact info@peoplepark.app to make a request. We may need to verify account ownership and will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

7. International processing and security

Information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, appropriate transfer safeguards apply. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

8. Children

Climb is intended for app developers and people researching apps, and is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Climb changes. The updated date above identifies the current version; we will provide additional notice of material changes where required. Privacy contact: People Park, info@peoplepark.app.
